RALEIGH – Little more than a week ago, major cities in North Carolina were in the midst of riots. Police in Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Fayetteville struggled to contain destructive lawlessness after protests motivated by the killing of George Floyd devolved into chaos, vandalism, and looting.
This author saw with his own two eyes how rabid Leftists dressed in Portland Chic used the protests to specifically wreak havoc on property, taunt police, and instigate as many confrontations as possible.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, guess what? It’s Antifa.
Much effort has been made to either insulate Black Lives Matter (BLM) from culpability in the mayhem, or, contrarily, downplay the role (or even the very existence) of Antifa. Both are laughable because the BLM organization touts much of the same radical political ideology, its sympathizers were also engaged in wanton rioting, and the Antifa involvement in the protests and riots has been patently obvious to any honest person paying attention.
But just in case doubters remain, James O’Keefe and the team at Project Veritas are out with a new video exposing Antifa in North Carolina.
Now this group isn’t necessarily a secret. Named the Redneck Revolt, we’ve highlighted this group before, as one of their senior members – a UNC professor named Dwayne Dixon, exacerbated the hullabaloo over Confederate statues on the campus of UNC and elsewhere.
That they like guns is of no real concern. What is more intriguing, as you can see in the video, is that they’d apparently like to abolish the entire system of government and replace it with a woke communist Utopia.
Sounds nice, huh? Well there’s a chapter right there in Shelby, the leader identified in the video has no qualms sporting the Antifa badge right on his Facebook page. Moreover, there are likely more around the state, and leaders of the group are employed by the State’s flagship university.
They take the ‘warrior’ part of Social Justice Warrior to a whole new level, and plenty of woke wonders that identify with their worldview were at the center of the riots in Raleigh and elsewhere.
