Let the North Carolina Conservative Super 16 Challenge begin!
In our first matchup, we have the number 1 overall seed, Congressman Mark Meadows, squaring off against the 16 seed, Senator Thom Tillis.
Matchup preview:
- Congressman Mark Meadows – As the Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, Mark Meadows has emerged as one of the leading Conservatives not just in North Carolina, but across the country. With exceptionally high grades from virtually all Conservative organizations, Meadows stands head and shoulders above virtually all of his peers. Meadows was one of the few members of Congress to work around the clock from the time President Trump was elected through his inauguration to ensure Conservatives could hit the ground running in 2017, and has emerged as one of only a handful of true Conservatives willing to stand against the establishment’s disastrous Obamacare Lite proposal. If you’re looking for a model of a true Conservative, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone better than Congressman Mark Meadows.
- Senator Thom Tillis – The freshman Senator from North Carolina campaigned adamantly throughout North Carolina in an attempt to woe Conservative voters. But since he arrived in Washington, Senator Tillis has become the poster child of moderates, bowing before the establishment, while doing anything and everything he can to compromise on Conservative principles. After Republicans gained majorities in the House and Senate, while also taking back the White House, Tillis even had the audacity to say Republicans owed nothing to the Conservative movement that made their elections possible. Tillis is also leading the charge for amnesty in the Senate. With consistently failing grades across a litany of Conservative scorecards, Thom Tillis is without a doubt one of North Carolina’s biggest disappointments.
Cast your vote below to decide which of these North Carolina Republicans will advance to the next round of the Super 16 Challenge!
