On Monday, the News & Observer attempted to disparage Rep. Michael Speciale (R-New Bern), after the North Carolina Representative joked on his personal Facebook that the “Women’s March,” a protest by the radical left against President Donald Trump, was “a joke.”
“What a joke that gathering was,” Speciale joked. “That march did not represent any of the women that I know!”
Being the state’s preeminent liberal “news” publication, the N&O jumped at the opportunity in an attempt to paint Rep. Speciale as anti-women and all of the other derogatory terms the far-left media uses to hit any Conservative who dares to disagree with the pro-abortion lobby.
Later in the day, Rep. Speciale hit back at the News & Observers failed attempt.
And he didn’t hold back any punches.
Speciale’s complete takedown of the N&O reads:
The News & Observer sinks to new lows as they try to make stories where there are none. They are actually focused on writing stories about facebook posts. What happened to journalism? It has truly rock bottomed with papers like this and writers like the writer of these articles.
They actually wrote an article about a post of mine where I commented on a video about the so called women’s march in DC. I commented that the march was a joke and there’s your story folks!
The march WAS A JOKE. Hey, offended snowflakes, the march was not about women or women’s rights, it was about pushing a liberal agenda. Pro-life women not allowed! There were, however, women dressed as vaginas, and little girls holding signs with the “F” word and more. There were topless women and women with red on their crotches to make it look like blood from their periods, etc.
There were women who could not tell you why they were there or what they were protesting or what the march was about (in other words women who were being used by other liberals). So, yes, I say the whole thing was a joke, and a cruel joke on those who were used by the organizers under the guise of women’s rights! Want to bet they get another story out of this post?
It’s not often that Republicans elected to office in North Carolina go to such lengths to rightly point out the absurd nature of most everything “reported” by the News & Observer, much less straight out attacking them for their obvious bias and attempts to slander anyone who does not fall in line with their liberal, PC worldview.
Kudos to you, Rep. Speciale.
