As North Carolina’s 15 members of the Electoral College headed into the State Capitol on a cold, rainy Monday morning, they sang “God Bless America” while carrying a huge “Thank You President-elect Donald Trump” banner Trump had previously signed.

The state’s electors followed the will of the North Carolina voters in awarding President-elect Trump all of the state’s 15 votes.
With all the potential roadblocks out of the way, the new Congress will certify the results on January 6th, and Trump will be sworn in as Commander-In-Chief on January 20th.
