Lock Her Up: Rabid Leftist Rosie O’Donnell Repeatedly Bribes Senators For Vote Against Tax Bill

Leftists commonly complain about all the influence money has in politics, but when it comes to their pet causes they, apparently, have no problem explicitly violating federal law in attempts to bribe politicians with cash

Rosie O’Donnell did as much when she tweeted an open offer of $2 million cash to any U.S. Senators willing to change their tax bill vote to ‘No.’

Some kind souls tried to remind her, despite contentions that politicians are bought and paid for by donors anyway, that explicitly offering cash for votes is against the law. A felony.

Well Sens. Susan Collins (R-MA) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ), though they be RINOs for sure, actually did vote to pass the tax cut package.

So far there is no news of the millions of dead people all across the country stemming from the legislation to let people keep more of their money.

There is also no news about whether or not authorities will hold the detestable and washed-up celebrity accountable for brazenly flouting the law, which is pretty clear in addressing the seriousness of the crime via the stiff penalties and prison sentence for conviction.

“18 U.S. Code § 201 criminalizes the attempted bribery of federal officials by whoever “directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official … with intent to influence any official act.”

The penalty? For Rosie, she could spend up to 15 years in jail, suffer a lifetime ban from elective office and pay up to a cool $12 million:

The statute calls for a fine of “not more than three times the monetary equivalent of the thing of value, whichever is greater, or imprisoned for not more than fifteen years, or both, and may be
disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”

In court, O’Donnell would probably argue that her attempted bribe was in jest, or perhaps a syndrome of a mental illness.”

I think the jury was decided a long time ago that Rosie has a mental illness. It’s primary symptom is being unabashedly Leftist.
