The Left’s Hypocrisy On Full Display: Bullying Is Wrong, Unless We Disagree With Your Politics

You have likely seen the video of Tennessee middle school student Keaton Jones and his emotional appeal for answers as to why some think it’s alright to bully those that are different. He has been a constant victim of bullying from classmates, and his righteous indignation is incredibly moving.

Going viral on Monday, the Keaton’s heart and spirit rightly evoked words of support and encouragement from the likes of movie stars, athletes, and just about everybody with a heart.

Many of those people assuring Keaton that they ‘had his back, no matter what’ are decidedly to the Left in their politics. That shouldn’t matter in this case, but then again the Left always has a way of discounting ANY cause that may associate itself with conservatives, Trump, the South, or, in this case, a couple of family photos featuring the *GASP* Confederate Flag.

“The spotlight on Keaton also cast attention onto Jones’s prior social media posts including one where she is holding a Confederate flag – a symbol of pride for some, and racism for others. Her daughter’s Twitter also contained a family photo with a Confederate flag.

“The only two photos — the only two photos on my entire planet that I am anywhere near a Confederate flag. It was ironic. It was funny,” Jones said.

“It didn’t have anything to do with racist intent?” Strassmann asked.

“No. No. Absolutely not. I’ve said I spent most of my life being bullied and judged because I wasn’t racist,” Jones said.”

Here they go again. The perpetual victims of the Left have taken a real victim, Keaton, and smeared his message with the supposition that his family is racist because they’ve been pictured with a Confederate Flag.

“But on Monday, December 11, stars like Billy Eichner, Patton Oswalt, John Mayer and more reacted to the controversial photos that were reportedly found on Kimberly’s Facebook page, which has now been deleted.

“Keaton didn’t get to choose the family that raised & shaped him, you smug ghoul,” Oswalt responded to a twitter user who asked whether he would continue to support Keaton. “How ‘bout showing him that people of all races & creeds can come together? Change things, maybe? Show him a better world?”

“Keaton’s a little kid,” Oswalt wrote to another user. “His family hasn’t allowed him any real perspective yet.

“If #Keaton was making racially bullying statements he and his mom needs to go to the principles office too & give an apology to those kids,” actress Patricia Arquette wrote.

Sportscenter host Jemele Hill, who invited Keaton to ESPN wrote, “I’ve seen her posts and if true, I’d say there’s potential for a great, teachable moment here. My offer for Keaton to visit ESPN stands, because what happened to him was cruel. That said, this is a stark example of selective empathy.””

That last “celebrity” is the same Jemele Hill that called President Trump a White Supremacist and subsequently got suspended for a time.

The Left-Lash from the flag photos led to overt smears of racism and people questioning the motivations of Keaton’s mother. The pressures ultimately motivated the GoFundMe organizer to SHUTDOWN Keaton’s donation page!

The page had generated $60,000 in two days. To their credit, the GoFundMe page organizer came out to clarify that the responses and comments from the Left regarding the confederate flag photos were unacceptable and constitute bullying themselves.

“As many of you know I paused the donations as well as the comments. As I sit back and read these comments and watched the video again I feel I have to make this update. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MOM!!” the latest statement on the GoFundMe page reads. “However passing judgement on her before you know her is a form of bullying. Condemnation before evaluation is the ultimate form of ignorance. I can’t even say for sure that any of whats being said is true. I don’t know the family personally and never claimed to have known them. This is about a kid who’s been bullied and not just one kid, Keaton, there are many unspoken cases about kids being bullied. We have to be the voice for the voiceless. In the video I saw a kid crying not just for himself but for others. To me thats a kid with a heart of gold and deserves praise. Im hoping that we can turn the money into something good whether it be for private school or college fund. Im in touch with GFM on how to proceed at this point. Thank you every one that donated.”

The Left is unbelievable. They are also incredibly predictable.

Compassion, tolerance, and empathy only go to those that hold the right political views. If you or your family happen to be proud of your Southern heritage, or hold conservative viewpoints, it amounts to an unforgivable sin, and they will toss you out with the garbage after labeling you a racist.

That’s a damn shame.
