WRAL Reporter Tweets ‘COVID Doesn’t Care About Your Christmas’ After Death of Local ‘Santa Claus’

RALEIGH – A local, jolly man that plays Santa Clause every year in Lincolnton, sadly, died after contracting the coronavirus. With the unfortunate loss of this man’s life, the Christmas traditions in that town will not be the same. There will be Christmas decorations, but no Santa Claus.

It’s sad, and Raleigh-area WRAL ran a story about the town mourning the loss:

“[…] James Helms, downtown Lincolnton’s beloved Santa Claus, recently died after battling COVID-19.

“This is not going to be a regular Christmas this year for many reasons,” said Mayor Ed Hatley. “But one of those reasons is that we’re not going to have Jim to play Santa Claus.” […]”

In response to this tear-inducing story, WRAL reporter Andy Specht tweeted this:

Yep.

A man is dead, and this reporter’s response is to deny his humanity in order to poke the eyes of people that don’t fall in line behind The Collective’s prescription of fear.

This is what’s become of the Left. It may not so much that they’ve changed in the era of Pandemic Panic and sanctimony; only that the reinforcement of the crowd allows them to unmask.

How gross.
