Women’s March 2018 – No Conservatives Allowed

RALEIGH – By now you’ve had the pleasure of witnessing directly, or being inundated with coverage of the throngs of Leftists that turned out for Women’s March 2018. And they were all Leftists, for sure.

Using the victim class tactics that the Left always employs, the ‘Women’s March’ really isn’t about women so much as it is about whining en masse about a litany of Progressive political causes. The Mainstream Media covers these marches as if it was some sort of legitimate civil rights issue for which brave women and ‘woke’ men demand justice.

For instance, the march in downtown Raleigh (which really screwed up my lunch plans) was gushed over by Leftist media like WRAL:

“On the one year anniversary of the inauguration of President Donald Trump, between 5,000 and 10,000 people gathered in Raleigh’s Halifax Mall to build support for a liberal-leaning agenda on issues such as women’s rights, reproductive rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, LGBTQ rights and environmental issues.

Saturday was the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March on Raleigh, and was one of the rallies held around the country and world. The original Women’s Marches were held a year ago this weekend as a response to the Trump presidency.

[…]

Raleigh’s crowd was diverse in age, race, gender and sexual orientation.

Among the protesters were also hundreds of children.

Holly Springs resident Amanda Lumm brought her 6- and 7-year-old daughters to Saturday’s rally.

“I think it’s just as important for them to get a taste of this as I get a taste of this, and that we can make our voices heard, so that change can happen,” she said.”

Liberal-leaning?! Read that list again and tell me if it is merely *leaning* to the Left. And notice that the crowd was apparently diverse in everything BUT political views.

I myself have two daughters, a wife, a sister, sisters-in-law, a mother. None of them would be welcome to partake in this march to ‘advance the cause of women’ because they have the different political views (thank goodness).

One of those views would be a respect for the sanctity of life, or protecting the unborn. How better to fight for women’s rights than to ensure millions of women can be born every year instead of aborted? However, you wouldn’t find any of the Women’s March activists at last week’s March For Life event.

Furthermore, where are all these women offering solidarity for those oppressed under Sharia in the Middle East. Women bravely taking part in the Iran protests a couple weeks ago sure could of used a global voice. Instead, these Leftists are facing imaginary oppression, so they must resist Trump.

Like I said; it’s not about women. It’s about Leftist political goals and calling anyone who opposes them a sexist or racist.

One sign at the march said, “DREAMERS STAY; TRUMP, GOP, RACISTS MUST GO.”

Beyond the purposeful conflation of Republicans and racists here, the sentiment conveyed is very telling of just how backwards these people’s thinking is. If they had it their way, they’d kicked out Americans with opposing political views in favor of welcoming illegal immigrants.

How very diverse and tolerant of them!

The silver lining to all of the Liberal whining? Just like the ‘Moral Monday’ marches on the General Assembly, the ‘Women’s March’ is a giant blinking indicator that we’re winning.

In that case, I hope to see these marches every year for the next seven, at least.
