RALEIGH – Did you ever think you’d live in a world in which Equality is not fair? Well, that’s the world college students at N.C. State University are entering in this Age of Woke.
According to Campus Reform, Wolf Pack students attest to being required by the university to take ‘diversity training’ that inundates them with Woke Dogma so orthodox that it becomes unavoidably absurd and Orwellian. For instance, ‘Equality is not fair.‘
As the Woke Cultural Revolution has pushed the Overton Window further and further into view of Critical Theory, the focus on Equity, one of the religion’s tenets, has become more pronounced.
It is the notion that allows the Left to abandon the color-blind equality of Martin Luther King Jr., and instead promote a race-based ideology that assigns collective guilt and prescribes a volumes of forced social retribution as the only road to redemption.
From the NCSU’s Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity website:
According to Campus Reform’s report, the training includes a quiz in which students are forced to “spot” their privilege. It also “asserts that “people with privilege” may use something called “tone-policing,” where people attempt to shut others down based on their emotional state, then using it to negate their argument. People with privilege, according to the training, do this in order to “preserve the status quo.””
While this pseudo-intellectual, totally Woke Dogma may have caused an uproar a few years ago, it is not standard fare for ‘higher’ education. Still, we imagine that there are still plenty of NC State students, alumni, donors, maybe even board members, and especially parents, that don’t appreciate their tuition and donations literally funding the proselytizing of this insidious ideology.
Not to mention TAX PAYERS. Your tax dollars fund these public universities and those dollars are being used to promote political, maybe even religious, speech and indoctrination that you might be (should be) diametrically opposed to. That should strike you, and your state representatives, as ‘problematic,’ as the kids say these days.
