WASHINGTON, D.C. – When the Inspector General report came out Democrats did their best spin job to present the report as vindication for fired FBI Director James Comey and a cohort of of actors investigating the president. The narrative was fleeting however, after a simple reading of its contents and conclusions yielded a cornucopia of wrongdoing, malfeasance, and trickery to taint and force out a sitting U.S. president.
Now a judge is demanding answers about the long listed of documented ‘faults’ in the FBI’s handling of warrant applications. As in, they literally changed application information to mean the exact opposite in order to go after Trump.
“Public fallout from a Justice Department watchdog’s revelations of failures in the FBI’s handling of intelligence-related surveillance warrants spread to the courts on Tuesday, as a key judge slammed the government for presenting inaccurate, misleading and incomplete information.
Judge Rosemary Collyer, the presiding judge of the secretive, 11-member Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, signaled grave concern about the inspector general’s findings that the FBI made a series of misstatements and omissions in applications for surveillance of Carter Page, an energy expert who served for a time in 2016 as a foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
“The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the OIG report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor” the government owes to the court, Collyer said in an unusual, four-page order. […]”
When it seems as if the fomented rage against Donald Trump is nothing but a detriment to our country, a witch hunt like no other, the fall out may end up proving the Democrats’ diabolical nature more than Republicans otherwise should have.
The more America learns what lays beneath the surface on this witch hunt, the more secure is Trump’s reelection. The FBI transgressions may be just the beginning of Americans seeing Democrats and embedded special government interests for what they are, so they can be held accountable in 2020.
