WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump may not be the most beloved politician out there, but he sure does have a gratifying way of throwing political correctness out the window. His disdain for political correctness manifests in more than just early morning tweets, too.
In less than one year in the Oval Office Trump has managed to achieve many things that even other Republicans would be too squeamish to tackle. This is especially evident in his latest accomplishment – calling ‘Climate Change’ hysteria for the hoax that it is, and backing the talk up with action.
He started by pulling the U.S. out of the onerous Paris Accord. Now,the Trump administration will release their National Security Strategy on Monday and the (non)issue of Climate Change will not appear on the list of national security concerns.
President Obama mandated that federal agencies consider the Climate Hoax as part of their planning in late 2016, a move that alarmed many who thought it would detract from, you know, REAL problems.
Instead Trump’s plan will emphasize the importance of balancing energy security with economic development and environmental protection, instead of subverting the former to the latter.
From the draft:
“Climate policies will continue to shape the global energy system. U.S. leadership is indispensable to countering an anti-growth, energy agenda that is detrimental to U.S. economic and energy security interests. Given future global energy demand, much of the developing world will require fossil fuels, as well as other forms of energy, to power their economies and lift their people out of poverty.”
Trump often talked about the absurdity that is the Man-Made Climate Change hoax. As evidence piled up to discredit this self-loathing and apocalyptic vision of human progress, most world leaders are still chugging the Kool-Aid.
If there was ever a Fake News story, man-made global warming was it. Beyond the primary fault in the narratives pushed by Al Gore and other environmentalist wackos – that it isn’t supported by honest science – the notion that some global warming, if it even exists, is a primary threat to national security is absolutely laughable.
Our military and national security apparatus has enough real world threats to worry about to waste time and energy on combating a non-existent threat spun up by the Radical Left.
President Obama made this farce a primary focus of his administration and said it was a bigger threat to our security than terrorism. Ha!
“In some ways, [climate change] is akin to the problem of terrorism and ISIL,” Obama said at climate talks in Paris in 2015. During a weekly address, Obama said “Today, there is no greater threat to our planet than climate change.”
Of course, the Left wants you to believe this so you will give them the power to control energy production and consumption, which is the surest way to control our entire lives.
It’s not a coincidence that Radical Environmentalism has its roots in communism. They are means to the same end – cradle to grave control of the individual in the name of the collective.
This kind of B.S. has no place among the real threats facing America every day and, according to the draft plan, Trump has again employed his political incorrectness to the benefit of the American people by sticking to reality:
“North Korea seeks the capability to kill millions of Americans with nuclear weapons. Iran supports terrorist groups and openly calls for our destruction. Jihadist terrorist organizations such as ISIS and al Qaeda are determined to attack the United States and radicalize Americans with their hateful ideology. States and non-state actors undermine social order with drug and human trafficking networks, which drive violent crimes and cause thousands of American deaths each year…. Strengthening control over our borders and immigration system is central to national security, economic prosperity, and the rule of law. Terrorists, drug traffickers, and criminal cartels exploit porous borders and threaten U.S. security and public safety. These actors adapt quickly to outpace our defenses.”
After eight years of American-Apologist-in-Chief Obama, this kind of straight talk is a welcome relief.
The Left will probably lose their minds about this, even though the vast majority of Americans couldn’t care less about the Chicken Little cries related to climate change.
When the Left is losing, the American people are winning. And they shouldn’t be terribly surprised, either. After all, Trump laid it out on the campaign trail all along, as this quote from 2015 campaign event in South Carolina clearly shows:
“So Obama’s always talking about the global warming, that global warming is our biggest and most dangerous problem, OK? No, no, think of it. I mean, even if you’re a believer in global warming, ISIS is a big problem, Russia’s a problem, China’s a problem. We’ve got a lot of problems. By the way, the maniac in North Korea is a problem. He actually has nuclear weapons, right? That’s a problem.
We’ve got a lot of problems. We’ve got a lot of problems. That’s right, we don’t win anymore. He said we want to win. We don’t win anymore. We’re going to win a lot — if I get elected, we’re going to win a lot.
We’re going to win so much — we’re going to win a lot. We’re going to win a lot. We’re going to win so much you’re all going to get sick and tired of winning.”
Tired of winning yet? Didn’t think so. Keep it coming, Mr. President.
