RALEIGH – While it’s only February, many of you may be daydreaming about warm summer days spent licking some ice cream with your kids or grandchildren. And why not? Ice cream is pretty great. It’s so great, in fact, that State House Rep. John Torbett, a Republican from Gaston County, wants to make it the ‘Official Frozen Treat’ of North Carolina.
House Bill 30 makes the proclamation:
