What’s to Worry About? First Truck Loads of Absentee Ballots Being Delivered to Post Offices in NC

Truck loads of absentee ballots, Durham County

DURHAM – It was a late batch of tens of thousands of ballots from Durham that put Roy Cooper over the top, literally at the 11th hour, on election night 2016. Now, four years later and in the midst of a Pandemic Panic that’s driven absentee ballot requests to record levels, Durham is delivering the first batches of ballots to the post office for distribution to voters.

Actually, 32,000 ballots, as the ‘first batch’ is seen here filling up a van.

That’s nice.

What’s to worry about? With more than 600,000 absentee ballot requests in the state and a historically contentious election, there’s no way people would take advantage of the relatively exploitable vote-by-mail rules to commit fraud.

Oh, pay no attention to 2018 AG Josh Stein; 2020 AG Josh Stein is promoting absentee voting as much as possible.
