WATCH: State Lawmakers Return, Stream Committee Meetings As General Assembly Closed to Public

RALEIGH – The North Carolina General Assembly returned to session Tuesday, but with enitrely different protocols from when the last left. Temperature checks were required, six feet of distance placed between members, and no access for the public. Committee meetings are being streamed in audio and video, however, so citizens can follow along as members deliberate myriad bills to address the fallout from the pandemic panic.
