RALEIGH – Governor Roy Cooper and leaders from the executive agencies held a press conference Tuesday to update the public on the spread of the Wuhan virus within the State of North Carolina, testing capability and resources, guidelines for helping mitigate virus spread, and outlining the executive ordered closures of businesses and bans on free assembly.
Cooper asserted during the press conference that his orders banning assembly apply to churches and private property and that he believes criminal sanctions are enforceable if they host more than 100 guests.
