WATCH: A Call to Action for Patriotic Interposition on Cooper’s Emergency Orders

RALEIGH – The systems set up to protect the individual rights of American citizens are faltering. Not that the system itself is failing, but, rather, that those vested with the power to uphold the Constitution, are refusing to do so.

Case in point: Governor Roy Cooper has been issuing executive edicts that restrict the rights of North Carolinians for months. From arbitrarily shutting down businesses and denying the rights of the business owners and patrons, to mandating masks in public, to restricting worshipers from attending church services; Roy Cooper has sacrificed the individual rights of citizens in a misguided charade of protecting the ‘collective.’

The Institute on the Constitution is calling on county sheriffs, judges, lawmakers, and appointed officials to honor their duty and interpose in between the People and “phony emergency orders” that have no justification in constitutional government.
