Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was assaulted by a neighbor while mowing his grass at his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Friday afternoon. Contrary to original reports that indicated Paul only received minor injuries, it was then revealed that he sustained 5 broken ribs in the attack.
The perpetrator happens to be a Trump and GOP bashing Leftist.

“The FBI has confirmed the motive behind the assault on Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).
What do they believe?
According to local Kentucky news station WNKY-TV, the FBI launched an investigation into the attack shortly after it happened. They believe the attack, which occurred Friday afternoon, was politically motivated.
The Daily Caller revealed Saturday evening that the assailant, 59-year-old Rene Boucher, is a registered Democrat whose Facebook page was riddled with posts voicing his opposition to President Donald Trump and the GOP.
What happened?
Boucher allegedly assaulted Paul while he was mowing his lawn around 3:20 p.m. Friday afternoon. According to reports, the two are neighbors and have had an ongoing feud, though it’s not clear what the disagreement is.”
This is the second time in a year that Paul has been a victim of violent attacks from the Left, as he ducked for cover at the baseball field shooting in which Republican Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot and nearly killed by a terrorizing Leftist.
As much as Democrats like to chide the Right for guns and hate, it sure seems funny how so many violent political acts, political or otherwise, come at the hands of Leftists. From Antifa to Radical Islam, their collectivist disposition seems to discount respect for individual rights.
