VIDEO: Student Violently Attacks Pro-Life Activist at UNC Chapel Hill

CHAPEL Hill – The abortion debate is in full swing this year, with liberal state legislatures passing laws to effectively legalize infanticide and conservative state legislatures advancing bills to protect live in the womb. One student on the campus of UNC Chapel Hill, though, apparently is not interested in reasoned discourse as much as unprovoked violence.

A Pro-Life activist on the campus in Chapel Hill was manning a station in the ‘Pit,’ near the student union, that featured graphic images of aborted babies. Such a display is not unusual, and has been a feature of student awareness campaigns on that campus for decades. The images seemed to be too much for one pro-abortion student, who allegedly attacked the Pro-Life activist.

A student who took offense to pro-life signage at UNC-Chapel Hill appears to have assaulted a pro-life activist, as the incident was caught on video and later posted to social media by a group called Created Equal, which describes itself as “a social action movement seeking to end the greatest human rights injustice of our time [abortion].”

“Footage of the outburst at University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC) begins with a woman asking our team, ‘Did you put these [signs] up?’” said Created Equal in a Tuesday Facebook post, “As soon as the pro-life activist responds affirmatively, she proceeds to repeatedly punch and kick a member of our staff.”

 As you can see in the video, the crazed social justice warrior, after confirming the man she’s talking to put the signs up, goes ballistic and starts throwing haymakers. The two Pro-Life activists should be commended for how calmly they reacted to the assault, calling police and reporting the crime.

The perpetrator screams at the Pro-Life activist that he’s a. “F****** terrible person!” as she is literally assaulting him. Psychological projection is defined as, “a defense mechanism people subconsciously employ in order to cope with difficult feelings or emotions.” It involves projecting undesirable feelings or emotions onto someone else, rather than admitting to or dealing with the unwanted feelings themselves.

The incident captured above is a classic case of projection; SHE is the terrible person. She was also charged with misdemeanor assault and will have her day in court.

Unfortunately, when it comes to ‘debates’ on divisive political or social issues, those on the Left often find it impossible to actually engage their minds to make their point. Instead, they resort to violence. Perhaps it is because making logical arguments requires a capacity for reasoned thought and emotional control that many on the Left simply do not possess.

We’ve seen it manifest with Antifa, the Confederate statues protests, assaults on Trump supporters, and many times with the pro-abortion crowd. College campuses, especially in Chapel Hill, seem to actually encourage this type of political violence by failing to hold perpetrators fully accountable. Hopefully, this woman is punished to the fullest extent of the law and, because it happened on campus, the university itself punishes her as well.
