RALEIGH – The canvassing of counties has been going on all day, meaning vote totals in the razor thin race for N.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice have been changing.
After losing the lead on Thursday night, the last day to accept absentee ballots, Republican Paul Newby has taken the lead back over in what stands to be a photo-finish well within margins for a recount.
Only 366 votes separate the two candidates to lead the highest court in the state. This is going down to the wire, so check here and refresh the results, as they are changing by the hour!
