Trump Tells Speaker Pelosi He WILL Deliver SOTU Next Week on House Floor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Many are still wondering where and how President Donald Trump plans to give his State of the Union address on January 29 amid the government shutdown and petty disinvitations from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi citing contrived security concerns.

Well, Trump fired back Wednesday, writing Nancy Pelosi that he has been assured security will not be a problem and, therefore, he accepts her original invitation to deliver the State of the Union address next Tuesday evening.

How about that? Congress has yet to pass a resolution calling for the joint session of congress at which the president delivers his speech, but even Democratic Majority Leader Rep. Stenny Hoyer has assured the press that security won’t be an issue should the president decided to deliver the speech from the U.S. Capitol.

Your move, Nancy.
