RALEIGH – It’s official. Well, unofficially, at least. The ‘Decision Desk HQ’ has now projected President Donald J. Trump as the winner of North Carolina and her 15 electoral college votes. This is not a certification, as you well know by now.

That brings him closer in the yet unresolved presidential election. This same organization has projected Joe Biden the winner of Pennsylvania, infamously putting him over the (projected) 270 mark, and this ‘projected winner’ of the presidential election. However, court cases there and in other swing states have a chance of significantly impacting the results overall.
There are no such legal challenges in North Carolina. So, for the second time, it appears Trump has carried the Old North State.
