NEW YORK, NY – President Donald Trump, much to the Democrats’ dismay, has continued promoting American pride and eschewing globalism when speaking at the United Nations this week. He spoke about that dichotomy specifically on Tuesday before the assembly, attributing the success of the United States to placing its national interests before global interests.
“The future does not belong to globalists, it belongs to patriots,” Trump said. “If you want freedom, take pride in your country. If you want democracy, hold on to your sovereignty. If you want peace, love your nation.”

These are the kind of honest American pride speeches that are so gratifying to hear from an American President on an international stage. It is a far cry from the American apology tours of the Obama administration, and one of the many reasons President Trump has the support he has.
The full speech is worthy of a listen. Watch it below.
