DAVOS, SUI – Three years ago President Donald Trump went to Davos as an instant pariah, in full MAGA mode amongs a cohort of skeptical and condescending world elites recoiling at the brashness of the newly elected leader of the free world. This year, that of Trump’s reelection, the president returned to the forum of world leaders to deliver one of the biggest ‘I told you so’ speeches of all time.
“The American Dream is back; bigger, better, and stronger than ever before,” President Trump proclaimed. A boast he then proceeded to back up with a staggering litany economic measures — numbers that would have sounded made up three years ago — that make America the envy of the world. Yet there was one person who, no matter what anyone thinks of him, called it all along. Now he’s issuing an epic ‘I told you so’:
