RALEIGH – Politicians often adopt a blue collar persona on the campaign trail, when they are nothing of the sort. Even if they have come up from meager means to occupy an office on Capitol Hill, it is a rare politician that actually draws his inspiration and support from those in flyover country.
Sen. Thom Tillis (RINO- NC) is one of those politicians that seems to have a hunger for power and prestige. He loves the Swamp and is constantly floating Establishment proposals that bring together weak Republicans and typical Democrats to grow government.
As such, Thom fundraises like a lot of other politicians – in exclusive and glitzy locations to which most people he represents wouldn’t be welcome , nor could they afford to go if invited.
