The Abortion Disconnect Between Media and Americans is HUGE

RALEIGH – With the Democrats’ latest pushes to legalize abortions at any point in pregnancy (even after birth!), successfully passing such laws in states like New York, it makes sense to worry if public opinion has turned against life. However, just like with most agenda-driving narratives the Left originates and their media pals hype up, popular support of ‘anytime abortion’ is is blown hugely out of proportion.

In fact, the chasm between the media and the public at large is HUGE.

The pro-abortion movement is pushed as a pro-woman issue (Women’s choice); Pro-life women are completely ignored in a national media context; yet, fewer women than men agree with legalizing abortion in the second and third trimesters.

The media purposely creates the impression that women, more than men, are supportive of abortion, couching it as a ‘choice’ movement. It’s a lie.

Consider how crazy it is that only 13 percent of Americans agree with a view that nearly 100 percent of U.S. media agrees with.

These numbers suggest, also, the a large chunk of Democrats also disagree with abortion in the second and third trimesters, but their voices are silenced by Leftist shot-callers that are yanking the Democratic Party more and more to the Left.

The media’s purposeful misrepresentation of the level of late-term abortion support is disgraceful. However, we should take comfort in the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans do not support the barbaric practice of late-term abortions. The Left and their media pals may write the narrative, but, fortunately, the real story is that most people across the country are more grounded in deference to life.

As such, leading Democrats’ sprint to the Left should get tripped up when it comes time for people to cast their votes in a referendum against their radical policies.
