Surry County Bans Woke Coca-Cola Vending Machines from County Buildings

Surry County

SURRY COUNTY – Commissioners of Surry County have voted to ban Coca-Cola vending machines from county-owned buildings on account of the soft drink company’s blatantly Woke political campaigns and advocacy for Left Wing smear narratives such as those painting election integrity laws as voter suppression.

Commissioner Eddie Harris has told reporters that the move, approved 3-2, serves as a way to push back against the Leftist politics of Left-leaning companies and to serve the pains of ‘Cancel Culture’ tactics right back to them.

Coca-Cola waded into the Woke political waters with a big splash, joining the Mob to misrepresent Georgia voting law changes (where Coca-Cola HQ is located) and smear Republican-led election integrity restorations as racist voter suppression.

Taking sides in such political debates has rubbed many conservatives and Republicans the wrong way, to say the least.

“Millions of Americans believe that the last presidential election was not held in a fair manner and that more voter fraud will occur in the future if elections are not closely monitored and regulated,” wrote Commissioner Eddie Harris in a letter.

Harris rightly believes Georgia’s efforts to improve election security is a necessary move to combat a crisis in confidence after a few too many anomalies in 2020 wrecked that trust for millions of Americans. Coca-Cola’s pointed moves to smear such laws, and to advance the poison that is Critical Race Theory within in their own corporate culture, is more than enough reason to not give the company space in county buildings to sell their products.
