WASHINGTON, D.C. – Well, the two senators from North Carolina, one of which is fresh off a reelection campaign trail in which he posed as President Donald Trump’s biggest ally, are anxious to white wash and certify Joe Biden’s suspect election to the White House.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Ron Johnson (R-WI), James Lankford (R-Oklahoma), Steve Daines (R-MT), John Kennedy (R-LA), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Mike Braun (R-IN), all sitting US Senators, will be joined by 2020 freshly sworn in Senators Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), and Roger Marshall (R-KS).
That group, with the exception of Hawley, signed a letter calling for an 10-day audit of election results to be conducted before certifying the electoral college. Leading the charge, Cruz, a constitutional scholar who’s argued cases before Supreme Court of the United States, is modeling the audit after an 1876 presidential scrum that involved similar allegations of fraud.
The senators assert they are interested foremost in establishing election integrity, to give the allegations and evidence of fraud proper consideration before certifying any results of the electoral college. Anything less, after all of the extralegal voting rule changes and massive anomalies indicating fraud, would be to cede our faith in the election process for years to come.
If you think Tillis and Burr should be on this list, standing up to at least inspect the results to establish integrity, let them know it. Melt their phone lines:
