Court documents say Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez was known to transport 30 kg of cocaine and an unspecified amount of meth from Texas to Georgia and NC in a month period. Documents call him the principle target of the investigation. Live at 6 @wsoctv pic.twitter.com/LoP5X5glbh

And the Left would have you believe that the only people coming across our southern border are those merely looking for a better life for themselves and their families. While there are plenty of those examples, there are also far too many examples of Oscar Rangel-Gutierrez coming in illegally and trafficking huge amounts of hard drugs in our own backyards.
And guys like Oscar – certainly someone you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark alley – are comforted by the fact that certain sheriffs are enacting policies that make it easier for them to hide in plain sight. It goes beyond merely suspending cooperation agreements with federal immigration authorities; the sanctuary sheriffs enact policies that prohibit officers from running/checking immigration status, or even asking the question.
It stands to reason that illegal alien drug cartel members view that as an extra layer of confidence in operating in those communities.
