By state law, the Economic Development Partnership of N.C. – which recruits companies to locate and expand in North Carolina – must provide the General Assembly with yearly performance data.
Here’s a list of each company or other entity that the partnership referred to the state Department of Commerce. Most came to North Carolina. Some did not.
The companies that did move or expand here were announced between July 2, 2015 and Sept. 1, 2016. The investments and hirings typically occur over a number of years. Grants are awarded based on applicants meeting targets over time.
