Pelosi Instructs Committee Chairmen to Draft Articles of Impeachment, Promises Vote by Christmas

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Like a runaway train that just can’t stop by virtue of it’s own momentum, despite long ago running out of track, House Democrats announced they would be moving forward with Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) promised a vote by Christmas, just a few weeks away.

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Thursday that the House of Representatives would begin drafting impeachment articles against President Trump, pushing ahead with a rapid timetable that could set the stage for a vote before Christmas to charge him with high crimes and misdemeanors.

Wrapping her announcement in the words of the Constitution and the nation’s founders, Ms. Pelosi said it had become clear over the course of two months of investigation that Mr. Trump had violated his oath of office by pressing a foreign power for help in the 2020 election. Allowing Mr. Trump to continue in office without remedy, she said, would come at “the peril of our republic.”

“His wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of our Constitution,” Ms. Pelosi said in a formal address lasting less than six minutes, delivered against a backdrop of American flags from the balcony outside her office in the Capitol. “Our democracy is what is at stake. The president leaves us no choice but to act because he is trying to corrupt, once again, the election for his own benefit.” […]”

Pelosi, Committee Chairmen Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Jerry Nadler (D-CA) have been fond of figuratively wrapping themselves in the Constitution as they struggle to paint their witch hunt with a facade of legitimacy. If they were to do it literally, the founding document just might wilt from such close proximity to politicians that routinely violate it out of pure collectivist resentment.

Now that Democrats have thoroughly revealed to Americans their transparent habit of projecting wrongdoing on to Donald Trump, it is so easy to decipher the code. Pelosi’s quip that Trump’s continued occupancy of the White House would come at “the peril of our Republic” is the Democrats’ way of saying, “the success of our hyper political coup attempt based on ZERO FACTS will come at the peril of our Republic.”

President Trump, exhibiting why Democrats and the Establishment hate him so much, taunted the ‘Do Nothing’ Democrats and pointed out that they were merely uniting Republicans around him more than ever before.

The Do Nothing, Radical Left Democrats have just announced that they are going to seek to Impeach me over NOTHING. They already gave up on the ridiculous Mueller “stuff,” so now they hang their hats on two totally appropriate (perfect) phone calls with the Ukrainian President….

….This will mean that the beyond important and seldom used act of Impeachment will be used routinely to attack future Presidents. That is not what our Founders had in mind. The good thing is that the Republicans have NEVER been more united. We will win!

Being the shrewd politician she is, Speaker Pelosi likely knows this. Yet, as we mentioned before, they just cannot stop. Schiff and company convinced Pelosi to wade into these waters, despite her hesitations, and now they must sink or swim. They’ll probably find that whatever they throw at President Trump and his supporters between now in Christmas, it will instead become an anchor around their own necks. The only explanation for their desperate acts is that they are all but certain Trump will rise to the top in 2020 elections, as they drown in an ocean of their own creation.
