NCFIRE June Report: 20 Illegal Aliens, 56 Charges of Child Rape/Child Sexual Assault

Edis Donaldo Maldonado-Ortez was arrested on June 5, 2019 in Pender County and charged with: 1 FELONY COUNTY OF STATUTORY RAPE OF A CHILD LESS THAN 15-YEARS OLD 1 FELONY COUNTY OF INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH A CHILD 1 MISDEMEANOR COUNT OF SEXUAL BATTERY

RALEIGH – North Carolinians For Immigration Reform and Enforcement (NCFIRE) is out with it’s monthly report compiling the number of illegal aliens arrested and charged with child rape or child sexual assault in June.

From NCFIRE President James Johnson:

“In June we were able to document 20 illegal aliens who committed 56 separate acts of child rape/child sexual assault against children in NC.

It just never ends and you have to wonder what kind of effect it is going to have on these children.

What’s even more stunning is, the fact that not enough of the members of the NC General Assembly (Representatives/Senators- yours and mine) care enough to do anything to stop it!

It is obvious that it is up to us to put a stop to it.

NCFIRE urges its’ members to confront their General Assemble man or woman and demand they enact legislation that makes NC an UNDESIRABLE place for illegal aliens to reside.

Maybe then, NC’s children can relax and just be kids instead of being the object of some perverted sexual fantasy.”

Many of these 20 individuals, which includes men and women from multiple countries in North Carolina illegally, are charged with felony sex offenses against children. House Bill 370, which would force county sheriffs to cooperate with ICE, would require the reporting and detention of all illegals charged felonies for processing by immigration authorities. That means these suspected child abusers would be removed from North Carolina communities, eliminating the chance for them to be simply released and possibly committing another crime here.

The legislation to make this law is currently sitting in the Rules Committee in the N.C. House, after a modified version of the original bill was passed by the N.C. Senate. If you think such a law makes a lot of sense, let your state lawmakers — and your governor — know that you expect them to pass and sign it.

One of the individuals listed in the June report, Reyes Rivera-Zapata, was arrested in Orange County because the 43 year old illegal immigrant sexually abused a 10 year old at a sleepover. While NCFIRE documents and confirms the immigration status of each person listed in its reports, the local news report on the arrest takes care to not mention it at all.

Considering the elevated level of illegal immigration debates right now, why would a news source leave this bit of information out of the report? Perhaps because their left-leaning agenda makes them averse to reporting anything that might give illegal immigration a bad rap?

The report does mention that Rivera-Zapata has “a Durham address.” Unfortunately, Durham County Sheriff Clarence Birkhead, is one of a handful of sheriffs that celebrated their election to office by suspending cooperation agreements with ICE to have criminal illegal aliens deported. House Bill 370 would require Sheriff Birkhead to actually fulfill the office’s motto of  “Honor, Duty, and Service” when it comes to enforcing the law.

Of course, if the border is not secure (and we know it’s far from secure), our communities cannot really be secure either. For every person crossing the border illegally with intentions to simply make money and a better life for their family, there are ones whose intentions that put citizens’ safety at risk. We owe ourselves the ability to regulate and vet who is entering our country if we expect to sufficiently secure these blessing of liberty.
