NC State Treasurer Dale Folwell Breaks Arm Motorcycle Racing

RALEIGH – Republican State Treasurer Dale Folwell has worn many different hats in life. In fact, before he was crunching numbers as a forensic accountant, passing common sense bills as a state lawmaker, or eliminating debt to the Feds at record pace while in the McCrory administration, Folwell worked as motorcycle mechanic and a passion for racing them.

He still races til this day. Unfortunately, though, after 45 years of racing motorcycles and two national championships, he says it maybe time for the next generation to take over; the 60 year old state treasurer broke his humerus in a race on Sunday. He announced the news on Facebook.
