SAMPSON COUNTY – N.C. Senator Brent Jackson (R-Sampson) has been farming his whole life, and he’s been in the General Assembly for the better part of a decade, but Sunday he was subjected to the worse kind of barnstorming – about 75 firefighters coalescing to battle a four-alarm blaze on his farm.

Luckily, no one was hurt, Sen. Jackson confirmed. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
