NC House Dems Celebrate People Going Bankrupt, Families Struggling by Selling ‘We Sustain Vetoes’ T-shirts to Raise Campaign Cash

RALEIGH – Governor Roy Cooper has been lining them up, and knocking them down. That is, he’s been vetoing every piece of legislation that lands on his desk that would restore economic freedoms to small-business owners across the state still suffering under the crushing weight of his illegal executive orders.

Gyms, bars, bowling alleys, event venues, skating rinks. Everyone of them featuring a tirelessly working business owner that simply wants to make a living and provide for their families.

And Democrats in the General Assembly, even those that initially vote for such worthy legislation, have been reliably sustaining Cooper’s vetoes. Not only that; the NC House Democrats are so proud that they’ve stood in the way of North Carolinians avoiding bankruptcy, so happy about sentencing family businesses to death, so gleeful that some parents will struggle to feed their children as a direct result of Cooper’s sustained vetoes, that they’re selling T-shirts to celebrate.

Well, to celebrate and raise money for their campaigns, so that they may continue in their role as King Cooper’s henchmen.

This is how tone deaf Democrats have become. While people struggle to survive under Cooper’s selective unilateral decrees; while they give up on life long dreams on account of Cooper’s sanctimonious whims; while they exhaust their savings, and scramble to keep their families fed and sheltered; NC House Democrats toast each other for reinforcing the ultimate dictatorial authority of their Dear Leader.

And, Oh Boy, are they proud…

It would be difficult to create a clearer message about what these elected Democrats actually care about. It is NOT the well-being of North Carolinians, or the unalienable, God-given rights of each and every one of them. It is POWER that they care about, as they show us here, ‘flexing their muscle’ to pound some unlucky business owner into failure.

Is it November yet?
