NC FIRE Report: 2018 in Review, 215 Illegal Aliens, 743 Acts of Child Rape/Sexual Assault

RALEIGH – North Carolinians For Immigration Reform and Enforcement (NC FIRE) tracks incidents across the Old North State in which people in our country illegally commit crimes against children. Reports are compiled every month, and in 2018 the report authors highlighted the arrest of 215 illegal aliens that were cumulatively charged with 743 acts of child rape of child sexual assault.

It makes the policy arguments around immigration and border security very tangible with respect to the costs incurred to our communities by lax enforcement and Washington’s hesitancy to build an effective border ‘wall.’ The federal government is partially shut down at the moment because congressional Democrats refuse to allow for border wall funding. The longer they insist on partisan political points, the longer innocent citizens are exposed to the dangers of a low accountability immigration environment.

From NC FIRE:

“Well, 2018 has come and gone; and illegal aliens in NC certainly embraced the giving spirit in December, although it’s nothing to be thankful for.

During December 2018, we were able to document 20 illegal aliens as having committed 52 instances of child rape/child sexual assault.

That brings the 2018 grand total of these unbelievable acts to:

215 illegal aliens who committed over 743 acts of child rape/child sexual assault

And what was the response from our elected leaders in Raleigh who receive our monthly child rape reports??? Amazingly…. crickets. How about the 315+ separate media outlets in N.C. who also receive these monthly reports??? That’s right… the same crickets.

I just can’t grasp having the kind of mindset it takes to completely ignore such a violent and heinous act, especially against children.

If you feel compelled to get involved, I urge you to contact your representatives in Raleigh and to also contact your local news media outlets and ask them why they are ignoring these criminal acts.[…]”

For example, last month Francisco Alvarado was arrested on December 12, 2018 in Durham County and charged with:

FIRST DEGREE FORCIBLE RAPE OF A CHILD
FIRST DEGREE KIDNAPPING OF A CHILD
FELONY INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH A CHILD

Yet another horrific crime that could have at the very least been prevented from occurring on U.S. soil if immigration laws were properly enforced, or, more ideally, proper border security prevented unlawful entry to our country.

There is news of another caravan forming with plans to jump the border into the United States. How many future criminals will be among those ‘seeking a better life’ in that caravan, and how many will come to North Carolina?
