Meet the new State Board of Elections that will decide the fate of the 9th District Election

RALEIGH – After several weeks out of commission, and a couple of nominating snafus, a new State Board of Elections has been named and they’ll have to hit the ground running.

The new five person board consists of three Democrats and two Republicans:

Stella Anderson (D)
David Black (R)
Jeff Carmon III (D)
Bob Cordle (D)
Ken Raymond (R)

The new NCBSE released the following statement after their reignition:

The 9th District investigation, staffing the county boards of elections, and making the necessary adjustments to implement new voter ID requirements demanded by the people; now that’s a full plate.

The fireworks will most certainly be centered around the 9th District investigation. The evidentiary hearing will be the most revealing look yet of the actual evidence fraud, if any, and if it eclipsed levels sufficient to call a new election.

We hope these members have, both, their head on a swivel, and their commitment to non-partisan civic duty firmly planted.
