Mecklenburg County Sicks ‘Mean Girls’ on 16 Year Olds to Bully Them Into COVID Vaccination

CHARLOTTE – Total vaccinations across North Carolina are reaching significant levels. Roughly a third of the total population has been inoculated, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Over 70 percent of North Carolinians 65 and up have been fully vaccinated, by far the most vulnerable population.

Over 40 percent of those over the age of 18 have gotten their COVID jabs, but now the children — clearly established as the group least vulnerable to the virus — are becoming the target of vaccine campaigns.

We have a real time example in North Carolina, where Mecklenburg County is proving that they’re not just a regular county; they’re a cool county. In a Twitter campaign aimed at teenagers, they are employing notorious pop culture bullies to pressure kids into getting their shot as soon as they turn sixteen.

The characters in this GIF are the antagonists in a movie literally titled Mean Girls.

The county employees in charge of the Twitter account might have overlooked that this movie was released before much of their target audience was born, but ‘Regina’ is nevertheless an infamous and loathsome bully, often memed as such in modern internet lingo.

So the Pandemic Panic and compliance culture have progressed to such a degree that county governments are purposely embodying a classic bully to strong arm kids into vaccines that they don’t need. All as to not be out of step with the dogma.

Many parents are seeing such things and beginning to wonder if the pressure for vaccination will reach a point that school attendance or sports or summer jobs will require it; which is exactly why the N.C. General Assembly should pass legislation barring any such COVID vaccine mandate for kids, and discourage the pressure bullying campaigns attempting to intimidate children into getting the shots.

There is no sound medical or scientific or ethical argument for forcing vaccines on kids for a virus that presents little to no risk for children; a risk assessment supported by over a year of comprehensive and targeted study of that exact question and agreed upon by the all important consensus.

Our government should never be playing the role of the mean girls.
