Meadows, DC Stalwarts Working with Trump On Setting Opposition Agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With Donald Trump expected to resume the quintessential MAGA rallies, the reemergence of a palpable and organized opposition is at hand. Working to help make that happen is his former chief of staff and former Congressman Mark Meadows.

The co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus said in an interview on Just the News AM, that they want to coalesce Trump and the GOP around an opposition platform that will contest the Big Government takeover and ostensibly defend and advance America First policies into 2022.

“I’ve been talking to Speaker Newt Gingrich, Lindsey Grahm, the president. We actually met together to talk about a path moving forward that’s focused on policy that everybody can come together on. You may remember back in the 1990’s there was a Contract for America. Most people don’t remember what those 10 points were, but what we’re doing is looking at something like that. We won’t call it a contract,” Meadows said, remarking that “we’ll be working on an America first agenda that actually sets the narrative for honest debate leading into 2022.”

Meadows was one of the most influential members of Congress as the leader of the pivotal House Freedom caucus; as well as a close confidant of the former president, called the Trump Whisperer by Politico.

The 2022 elections, after 2 years of seeing the ‘moderate radicalism‘ of President Joe Biden, may represent the last chance to rescue the nation from the forced immolation ushered in by the Left. As such, the America First agenda they set better be righteous, strong, and free of the Swampy trappings that make MAGA necessary in the first place.
