Mark Meadows: No Quid Pro Quo!

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The kabuki theater continues on Capitol Hill as Democrats in the U.S. House put on an impeachment show, regardless of the utter lack of evidence of wrongdoing. ‘Quid pro quo’ has been the hot phrase regarding the phone call President Donald Trump has with Ukrainian President Zelensky, which you’ve likely heard a million times in recent days. It’s a fancy Latin way of saying, ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours, but you scratch first, or else.’

Yet no matter how many times the fancy phrase is repeated, the truth coming out in testimony reveals no quid pro quo. Except the full information is being withheld from the public by Democrats. That’s according to Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) who sat through 10 hours of testimony from Bill Taylor this week, a Trump administration official whose comments are described as ‘explosive’ by the Left, and came away with a different assessment.

The leaks out of today’s witness interview have been laughably overblown and don’t tell the full story

Still no evidence of quid pro quo. Much of the statement and hearsay allegations didn’t hold up against any real scrutiny.

The American people cold see for themselves just how empty the Democrats’ accusations against Trump are if these hearings were actually public. Instead, the committee heads like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), selectively approve leaks that spin the narrative as anti-Trump as possible no matter how completely their full testimony and context vindicates the president.

Even so, the president has been in peak form in calling out the Democrats for their acts of desperation.
