Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson BANNED from Facebook for 30 days for Posting ‘Woke’ Painting Currently on Display at NC Museum of Art

RALEIGH – It seems as if Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson was getting a little too much momentum for the Left’s liking. Just as Robinson enters a crescendo of powerful press in defense of First Principles and in opposition to the Woke philosophy plaguing our nation right now, Facebook bans the politician others are describing as a ‘phenom,’ suspending from his account for 30 days.

And for what? For posting an image of a woefully Woke portrait, of a black woman holding the severed head of a white woman, that is currently hanging on display on the N.C. Museum of Art.

Reactions from Facebook user and Robinson supporter:

“Interesting… NC’s Lt Gov Mark Robinson posted a picture of a painting currently on display in NC Museum (by the artist that painted Obama’s portrait)… FB has banned him from FB for 30 days for posting a picture that violated community standards because it promotes violence. So its too bad for social media but ok for a state museum.”

“NC Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson banned for 30 days from Facebook for calling out violent art on display in a North Carolina Museum. Shame on them. Legislators, how will you hold Big Tech accountable for the silencing of conservatives?”

“The silencing of Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson is an outrage! President Trump banned from social media, Rudy giuliani’s home raided, fundamental rights in Joe Biden’s America are being eroded at a fast pace.”

So, Robinson’s post, violated the community standards at Facebook because the Woke portrait violates their community standards, and he’s the one that gets banned. Here is the painting in question:

Judith and Holofernes, by Kehinde Wiley, “a provocative statement about the hierarchical nature of Western society”

Care to guess why Robinson, the courageous leader known plainly for his booming exposure of the Woke movement as morally bankrupt recipe for human disaster, may have had a problem with this piece of art being hosted by a taxpayer-supported museum?

That’s rhetorical, of course. The real question is, did Facebook suspend Robinson for a month because he posted the image? Or because he called it out for what it was?
