LOL: CAIR Calls for Dan Forest to Withdraw from Christian Event in Charlotte, Citing ‘Religious Freedom’

CHARLOTTE – Maybe file this under ‘Seriously?’

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest and most active advocate for Muslims and Islamists alike, has called on N.C. Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest to cancel his planned speech at the American Renewal Project event in Charlotte next week. The event, scheduled for October 3 and 4 in Charlotte, is continuation of ARP’s mission to spread the Christian faith and secure Judeo-Christian values as the foundation of our country.

“By sharing the stage with anti-Muslim speakers, the lieutenant governor would legitimize the bigoted views espoused by the speakers and delegitimize the Republican Party’s claim of supporting religious freedom for all. Lieutenant Governor Forest should immediately withdraw from this event and reaffirm his commitment to representing all North Carolinians regardless of faith or background.” – CAIR Government Affairs Director Robert McCaw.

Those “anti-Muslim” speakers are guilty only of pushing back on Islamists who would rather the United States be governed by Sharia Law than the U.S. Constitution.

OH! Speaking of Islamists, did we mention that the group calling for Forest to cancel his speech, in the interest of Religious Freedom, no less, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the one of the most significant Islamic terrorism prosecutions brought by the government since 9/11? Yeah, they were helping to raise and launder funds to finance Islamic terror around the world. The case proved that CAIR is essentially and arm of HAMAS in the U.S.

THIS is the group calling for Dan Forest to skip out on this Christian event for fear of promoting discrimination based on faith. Of course, this is nothing new for CAIR. In the years since they got caught financing radical Islamic terrorists they have taken up the role of woke Social Justice Warrior, the natural allies of any group interested in instituting cultural control and enforcing radical dogmas.

As such they make it a habit to chime in with their own social justice victimization stories and join the chorus of progressives accusing the Right and Christians of being the intolerant ones.

Forest should treat the CAIR demand for what it is: a sign that he’s promoting the American values that threaten and offend co-conspirators in radical Islamic terror networks. If Forest has earned enemies like CAIR, he deserves a lot of friends that truly hold dear to the idea of liberty for all.
