AREA 51 – What started as and remains a foolish call to raid Area 51 and ‘See Them Aliens’ will come to a head with the ‘event’ set for this weekend. The pitch to break into the ultra security military base of UFO lore took off on social media, quickly becoming a meme, and earnings millions of ‘Attending.’
In the meantime the U.S. government has warned organizers and those seriously thinking of storming the base against doing so. As in, you will be shot. While the would be raiders may think “They can’t stop all of us,” the military most assuredly can, and will, stop them.
That’s not stopping some from capitalizing on all the cultural attention on the Area 51 Raid, however. Three separate party/events are planned, including an ‘offsite’ alien themed party put on by Bud Light. Surely people will show up for an out of this world time, but the real attention will be on if anyone is stupid enough to actually follow through on the raid.
