WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amy Coney Barrett has been nothing short of impressive in the first couple days of questioning from Senators, especially when facing ‘Gotcha’ attempts from Democrats seeking to draw her out and pin her down. Every single one of those partisans has, with embarrassing speed, been put on their back by the law school professor and federal appeals court judge. And all with grace and professionalism.
Today will be the last full day of questioning, and therefore the last chance for us to watch live as Barrett handles attacks with ease, demonstrating her cutting sharpness while remaining poised and likable.
She is seriously smart. Watch her lay waste to any comers that think they can pull one over on her, and have confidence that our next Supreme Court Justice will be laudable addition to the bench.
