LIVE: ACB Opening Statement, Confirmation Hearings Begin in Senate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The confirmation hearings of President Donald Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States, Amy Coney Barrett, begin this week. It all kicks off with Barrett’s opening statement, followed by a line of questioning that’s expected to include plenty of vitriol from Democrats labeling her a ‘dangerous right-winger.’

Barrett, though, has faced this kind of questioning from the Senate before, and she proved quite adept at wiping the floor with those trying to pin her down. Watch it live, below:
