House Judiciary Approves Articles of Impeachment as Trump Unleashes Tweet Storm

WASHINGTON, D.C. – At this point it is becoming quite redundant, but alas The Big Impeachment Show drags on in the House Judiciary Committee. The agenda turned Friday to a vote on approving the two Articles of Impeachment introduced against President Donald Trump, one each for “abuse of power” and “obstruction of congress.” Both charges amount to the Democrats’ collective hissy fit over the fact that Trump is president and they don’t like him, and so it is no surprise that the Democrat-run committee approved the articles, sending the show on to it’s next act in the House.

Next week’s vote will then lead to a Senate trial in January, presided over by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. It takes a two-thirds vote of the 100 senators to actually remove a sitting president (can you imagine?), and the Republican-run Senate is expected to acquit him on the facts.

However, Republican senators are still deciding whether to ultimately allow Trump to call witnesses, a critical decision in whether or not Democrats are exposed for the real threats to the Republic that they are. There has been mention that Senate leadership is more interested in brevity, and just getting it over with, and against turning it into ‘a circus’ with Trump witnesses. This would be a huge mistake.

The answer to the Democrats’ production of The Big Impeachment Show should be an absolute big-tent blockbuster with Democrats center ring jumping through hoops of Ukraine fire.

Today’s vote was the first vote of it’s kind since 1998 and sets up only the third presidential impeachment in U.S. history. Outside observers may think these charges represent true high crimes and misdemeanors. Instead what we have is a purely partisan witch hunt the mercy of its own momentum, and President Trump has been unleashing on Twitter to expose it all.

It’s difficult to put it any better than that. The Democrats, in the late stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome, seem to be digging their own graves one impeachment hearing at a time.
