Gun Owners of America Endorses Mark Robinson in Race for NC Lieutenant Governor

RALEIGH – Mark Robinson shot to fame with a rousing speech in defense of the Second Amendment at a Greensboro City Council meeting. It’s only fitting then that the conservative candidate for lieutenant governor has earned the enthusiastic endorsement of Gun Owners of America.

Tim Macy, chairman of Gun Owners of America, stated, “We all remember the impassioned speech given by Mr. Robinson at the Greensboro City Council meeting. His ‘I’m the majority’ speech reverberated across the country, and launched Mr. Robinson down a path of advocating for and defending the Second Amendment on a national scale.

“Mark Robinson, who is a GOA life member, has promised to give ‘not one inch on the Second Amendment,’ and defend our God-given right to keep and bear arms. GOA is glad to be able to support him in taking this position to the North Carolina State Government.”
