Governor Cooper’s Proclaims ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance’

RALEIGH – While scandal is swirling about his head, politicos and media are calling for corruption investigations, and the State still doesn’t have a budget for his brinkmanship, Governor Roy Cooper is doing his best to keep his woke voting base appeased by proclaiming a ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance.’

After all, riding the transgender issue is what helped put Cooper in office.

So just in case Cooper had not made it clear enough, already, he is so totally woke. He is woke enough to make an official proclamation insinuating that North Carolinians at large engage in “high levels of discrimination, fear, stigma, and bias that fuels abuse and violence against North Carolina’s transgender community” sufficient that it warrants a ‘Day of Remembrance.’

These are the priorities of the modern Left and a true sign of the times.
