WASHINGTON, D.C. – North Carolina Republican Congressman and chair of the influential Freedom Caucus in the U.S. House said in an interview that he supports the former Trump adviser Steve Bannon’s war against the Establishment.
Meadows isn’t new to this fight considering he spearheaded the removal of former House Speaker and Establishment fixture John Boehner (R-OH), but he is the second member of congress this week to publicly support Bannon’s push to oust the Establishment Republicans that stand in the way of meaningful conservative reforms in D.C.
