KILL DEVIL DILLS – If you see a nice copper bust of an aviation pioneer for sale on Craiglist, you might want to call the National Park Service. An investigation is underway as someone has taken flight with the bust of Orville Wright from the Wright Brothers National Memorial on the Outer Banks.
So far there is no word about a suspect, but if you see Orville Wright peaking out of a truck bed on your drive home be sure to call or text the Tip Line at 888-653-0009 or go online at http://www.nps.gov/isb and click “Submit a Tip.”
Hopefully Orville and Wilbur can be reunited in short order, and the vandals get what they have coming.
