WASHINGTON, D.C. – Well, the steps toward sending the two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate continue in the House as a vote is expected later today. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, actually following through so far on her timeline, named the ‘managers’ or ‘prosecutors earlier Wednesday.

Their names may ring a bell; Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler.

The dynamic Democratic duo is, of course, the same tag team that suffered an utterly embarrassing defeat just a few weeks ago. From any angle, the Democrats’ Big Impeachment Show in the House, directed by and starring Schiff & Nadler, was a big flop. Trump’s approval numbers WENT UP during the course of the hearings and testimony. Now Pelosi wants them to produce a sequel; the president must be privately excited for his impending popularity spike. Nonetheless, he was already attacking Schiff before before the announcement was made.

Now that the managers are named, the House is set to vote later Wednesday to actually send the articles across the rotunda to the Senate chamber. If the vote succeeds, McConnell becomes the maestro. It won’t be without all the bad actors and rigmarole over witnesses and so forth that the Democrats can muster, but it’s hard to imagine it ending with anything other than an acquittal and vindication for Donald Trump.

You can watch the Democrats perpetuate the witch hunt below.
